Abstract
Apotemnophilia, a term coined in 1977, is a desire for amputation to be performed on one’s own person or a preference for a sexual partner who has undergone amputation. I have tried to collect information about this remarkable desire. This paper describes the case of a man who wanted his leg amputated.
